We would like to identify our films at We Are Moving Stories for streaming on different platforms.
Why are you doing this now?
As the biggest community for new voices in film with more than 50% women's participation we have expanded our focus and are now working with larger streaming platforms to include more diverse voices. We have published articles about many films of various lengths – shorts, series and features – and we would like to bring them together as packages according to different subject matter. We need to know which films are available for distribution.
In the US audiences watched 4 billion hours more content during COVID-19. But film and TV production has stopped. The impact of Black Lives Matter is profound. Many streaming platforms and broadcasters are urgently looking for more inclusive content. A Biden presidency in 2021 will accelerate this trend. We want to be part of a solution to the huge problem of under representation in the US.
What does the membership price include?
We are happy to update your film festival and bio details at www.wearemovingstories.com to make it easier for streamers to understand your film's background. Because of the extra work we are inviting you to become members at We Are Moving Stories for a fee of $30 per year.
We are committed to bringing all the specific films together in a package and we will be in contact with filmmakers and streaming platforms to do so. As you can understand there's a lot more time and effort involved and we believe that $30 is a very basic fee!
How do I become a member?

She will invoice you via Paypal for $30. All you need to provide to her is your email address.
But my film is already on Amazon Prime and Vimeo. How is this different?
We have many films of different lengths and content areas and we would like to package them for different streamers and broadcasters.
Can I be involved in which platforms would screen my film?
Of course! We are open to suggestions and feedback.
Is the distribution offer an exclusive or non-exclusive deal?
Currently we are exploring both options. But of course any final decision will be made by you as the filmmaker.
What is the split being offered?
We are still in discussion with potential streamers and broadcasters.
Once signed and platforms chosen, how long is the distribution deal for?
We will be liaising with different broadcasters and streamers to determine this info.
Am I able to resign after the contract expires?
